Ways to get Nemsy Necrofizzle Hero?

I understand the way to get this hero would be to addend a Fire side gathering

Problem is a lot of people dont have the time or there is not one nearby to go to. That leads to my post..

I saw a few streamers talking about spoofing your location to get the hero. That leads me to many other questions.

#1 how is this even done?

#2 could I do it alone or do I need to get others involved to do it?

#3 is it safe for my computer? Any risk?

#4 is there a webb site that has people wanting to do this if #2 is true?

# is there a tube vid on this? Havent found one

Again I just want to get the hero but I have not the time nore is there a FSG near me at all.

There are also no Fireside Gatherings in my area, and I was hoping to be able get the new Warlock Hero as well.

What everybody is thinking right now.

I don't want to sign up for some bullshit streaming service, or move to Hong Kong, or get together with 10 friends so we can all slap our dicks on a pig skin together at te same time to simulate Ben Brode's thunderous laughter and unlock a hero. Just sell me the fucking thing and leave me to play in peace.

I have submitted a request for an event in a public park near my house. I plan to go there with 3 devices (my phone, my tablet and my relative's tablet that I'm borrowing) and just sit in my car. I have an extra HS account from getting the Shaman hero... ;D The only issue is that there's no Wi Fi at the park, so I'll have to share my mobile internet. You have to check in at the location somehow, right? I am certain that no one would actually turn up, because of where I live!

I just thought of another way though (if my park idea does not work). Places like Mc Donald's or Burger King (or other public places) often have free Wi Fi with a decent range. My next plan is to register an event at my local Burger King (where I know there's free Wi Fi), then park nearby with my 3 devices (like a loser) and do the thing. :D

My questions are:

1. If I've already earnt the Fireside card back, would I be automatically classed as suitable for hosting a gathering with this reward? Or do I have to essentially 'host' 1 approved event and then the subsequent one would be eligible for granting the Warlock hero?

2. Would 3 'players' be enough to play the Fireside Brawl?

3. Is Wi Fi mandarory or would a shared 3g connection be sufficient?

4. How do you 'check in'? Is it automatic?

I'll keep you guys posted...

Fiseside "TAVERN" not gathering, a Fireside tavern is when you do a fireside gathering for the second time, check the image on the left if it is:

a lantern = No New hero

A shield = Yes new hero after the brawl

Are we sure about that? When I was registering my event, there was a tick box to confirm whether my gathering was part of the Hallow's End, and the pic had the new Warlock hero on it. Why would this option be present if you could only get the hero on your second hosted gathering?

"This Hallow's End, you should also expect a magical guest. Hearthstone's newest hero, Nemsy Necrofizzle, will be available for free at established Fireside Gathering Taverns starting on October 17*. This pint-sized Warlock will creep her way into your Hearthstone collection if you play any Fireside Brawl at a Fireside Gathering Tavern. Even though it's Hallow's End, have no fear—Nemsy will continue to be available at Taverns even after this spooky celebration meets its . . . end.

Be sure to establish your Tavern so that Nemsy can join in the fun. A Tavern becomes established after you've hosted a Fireside Gathering that had at least three unique patrons in attendance. After you meet this requirement, your next visit to FiresideGatherings.com will prompt you to establish a Tavern that you and your community can call home."

You have to do the monthly fireside brawl, which only a tavern can do.

I've spoken to Blizz via web-chat earlier about this achievement. What's been said about it so far has been correct, namely that:
- You can only get the hero through a Fireside Tavern, not just a normal Fireside Gathering
- To apply for a Tavern status, you need to have had a public, approved gathering with at least 3 check-ins
- Fireside events must be hosted in public locations
- Fireside Tavern must be hosted at the same location as your previously approved Gathering
- They said that a wi fi connection is likely to be required (the rules require a 'dependable' internet connection, but I'll be testing to see whether mobile internet would suffice to 'check in')

That you drive 150km far, a lot of Money paid for a train ticket just to get a skin?
Make it easy, as with the Fireside Cardback. Drumming 2 Friends together, invites them to your home, plays a bit of Hearthstone and everyone gets this skin. Everything great.

Really, its not much more than what you just described, other than you have to do a little extra "paperwork" to register your gathering, and you have to do it twice. I have looked into the registration process, and it seems pretty simple. Even though I have two events near me, ill probably just create my own

I thought there were no Fireside's in my area. Checked today and found one starting up right next to me as well as plenty of others nearby. Seems like plenty of people are willing to get one going to get the new Hero.

Yes, I've tried spoofing my location yesterday and it was possible, only problem was I had to play the brawl and it was a 3v3 brawl and I had no one to brawl with since I wasn't actually there in real life.
